How it works
Selling a van privately means time-wasters, test drives and days off the tools. Selling to us is simple, and there are no fees at any stage.
1. Ask for a valuation
Fill in the valuation form, call free on 0800 206 2208, call or text , or send the registration, mileage and a few photos on WhatsApp. Tell us about racking, ply lining, tow bars and other kit, whether the van is VAT-qualifying, and any faults or damage. The more honest detail you give us, the more accurate your offer will be.
2. Get your offer — held for 7 days
We come back to you with a price. There is no pressure to accept on the spot: your offer is held for seven days while you think it over.
3. Free collection
Once you are happy, we agree a time to collect the van from your home, building site, yard or depot. Collection is free across London, Oxford, the Home Counties and all major UK cities.
4. Same-day payment
We check the van matches the description and the paperwork is in order, and you are paid by bank transfer before we drive away. If there is outstanding finance, we settle it as part of the sale and pay you the balance. No fees are deducted.
What you will need
- The V5C registration document
- Photo ID such as a driving licence or passport
- All keys, and any service history and MOT paperwork you have
- For a company or fleet van, confirmation that you are authorised to sell it on behalf of the business
- Your tools and personal belongings taken out (fitted racking and lining can stay)
- If there is outstanding finance, the settlement figure from your lender
